The secret to our successful leadership in the plastics industry started almost fifty years ago with our patented and innovative engineering and manufacturing uses of nylon. Since then, M&Q has grown from being a manufacturer of extrusion-molded hula-hoops in the '50s to the #1 supplier of convolute tubing to the US automotive industry. M&Q has received many awards from major automobile manufacturers, as well as ISO 9002 System Certified quality management status in its Pennsylvannia plant. The properties of nylon resins are well known, particularly their strength and resistance to heat and hydrocarbons. Although technologies for fabricating nylon fiber have been available for many years, the ability to make blown nylon alloy film into sheets, bags, and tubing remains elusive to many. It is the development of these techniques that makes M&Q an industry leader.
